Inside/Outside Sales Rep - Do you meet the following requirements?

• 3+ years of inside or outside sales experience is required.
• A network of local and regional business relationships is required.
• Strong self-management skills are necessary.
• A certain degree of creativity is required.
• Sales experience in software development, IT services or similar is preferred.
• Good ability with computers (sending email, instant messaging) is required.
• Must be competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Complete training is provided for this position.
• This position is based in our Louisville KY office, but has significant local and regional (same-day) travel, so appropriate reliable transportation is required.

Inside/Outside Sales Rep - What will you do in this position?

• Calls prospective clients and sets appointments to meet with senior level decision makers.
• Telephones and/or sends email to respond to prospective customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
• Calls in additional sales support from others in the company as needed.
• Aggressively closes sales to meet specific revenue targets.
• Develops new prospects as needed.
• Attends networking groups and uses other networking resources to form relationships with local and regional businesses for the purpose of expanding sales of services.
• Plans intermediate goals for calls and contacts in order to meet sales targets. Reports daily on progress toward goals.
• Targets various regions or markets with specific messages to generate interest in our services.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders within our computer system.
